IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19

For Your Health and Safety

[Update 3/31/20] Gentle Dental is committed to our patients and their care. Following the guidelines issued by the American Dental Association (ADA),

Select Gentle Dental practices will be open for urgent and emergency dental care.

If you are experiencing a dental emergency,  please email us at patienthealth@42northdental.com and a member of our team will get back to you.  Please make sure to include your name, phone number, the nature of your emergency and the location of the Gentle Dental office where you are a patient.  We will get back to you as quickly as we can.  You may also call your local Gentle Dental office and you will be routed to a patient coordinator or directed to leave a voicemail message. All routine dental care will be rescheduled after in mid-April when we expect to be back in the office

If you are in braces and have an emergency, our orthodontists offer this guide for handling orthodontic emergencies at home.  If your issue is elevated to an emergency, you can also call your local Gentle Dental office and you will be routed to a patient coordinator or directed to leave a voicemail message.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority.

Gentle Dental believes by taking these extraordinary precautions, dentists can make a difference in helping to preserve the supply of personal protection equipment (PPE) critical for emergency dental care and front-line healthcare personnel responding to the pandemic.

We continue to be here to serve the community for emergency dental care, reducing the strain on emergency rooms and urgent care centers.

If you have flu-like symptoms including fever, coughing or shortness of breath, or if you have traveled to any of the affected countries on the CDC Travel Warning List, including most European countries, in the last 14 days, we ask that you let us know immediately. We will work to schedule your appointment at a future date.

We are regularly monitoring developments regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) and the guidelines for healthcare providers from the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), American Dental Association (ADA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local and Federal authorities. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority.

We thank you for your support as we continue to provide safe, effective dental care during these challenging times. Please take care of yourselves and your families.
