Dr. Kijung Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University/Presbyterian Hospital. While working as a General Dentist, Dr.Kim accepted to become the Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University to teach and guide dental students. Dr. Kim believes that teaching can be one of the best ways to give back and enhance the health of the community.
During her career, Dr. Kim found a passion for providing positive dental experiences to children during her mission trips and decided to enhance her knowledge of pediatric dentistry in depth by specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at NOVA Southeastern University. During her studies, Dr. Kim has learned to provide comprehensive and optimal treatment on broad spectrums of pediatric patients.
Dr.Kim emphasizes the importance of educating children and their parents on preventive dental care so that they can establish a sound ground for having healthier oral health from the early developmental stage of growth.
During her spare time, Dr.Kim loves to continue educating herself in dentistry, running, cross fit, yoga, cooking, and learning something new every day.
