Dr. Edson De Sousa

Dr. Edson De Sousa earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is currently pursuing advanced specialty training in Periodontology at Harvard.

Originally from a Brazilian-American background, Dr. De Sousa speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish and values creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and involved in their care. His approach to dentistry emphasizes clear communication, patient education, prevention, and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.

In addition to clinical care, he is actively involved in research and dental education and has presented his work nationally and internationally. Outside of dentistry, Dr. De Sousa enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, serving in his local community and church, and exploring New England.
