Dr. Robert Miskimen

Robert I. Miskimen III, DDS, MD is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care with an emphasis on patient comfort, safety, meticulous technique, individualized treatment planning, and predictable outcomes.

Dr. Miskimen completed his six-year integrated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University at Buffalo, where he also earned his medical degree and completed additional training in anesthesiology and general surgery. He earned his dental degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with high distinction. Dr. Miskimen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

His practice includes wisdom tooth and complex dental extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation, with a particular focus on advanced implant surgery and full-arch reconstruction (All-on-X). Dr. Miskimen routinely manages complex implant cases, including patients with significant bone loss or anatomy that may make conventional implant treatment challenging. When appropriate, his surgical approach can incorporate advanced techniques such as pterygoid and zygomatic implants to provide additional options for full-arch rehabilitation.

Dr. Miskimen believes that sophisticated surgical care should still feel personal and approachable. He takes the time to explain treatment clearly, answer questions, and develop a surgical plan tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
