I had a fantastic experience for my cleaning at Gentle dental. I truly appreciate the care and thoroughness the hygienist provided. They clearly took their time, ensuring every part of my mouth was addressed and my teeth felt spotless—it wasn't a rushed, in-and-out job at all. The entire process was gentle, and they were very detailed in their work. The whole team was friendly and professional. If you want a dental office that prioritizes a truly meticulous cleaning, this is the place to go!

I've had only my checkup and cleaning in this office. The experience was all positive: X-rays were quick, thanks to Kalpana. Dr.Lammar patiently answered all my question in addition to the exam itself, cleaning by Valerie was gentle and thorough and reception stuff was welcoming and helpful. (for those concerned about comfort, I have to agree with the other reviewer: dental chairs are far from the top line)

Why Are Professional Dental Cleanings Important?

Plaque can harden into tartar in areas that are difficult to clean at home. Professional cleaning removes this buildup and helps maintain healthier teeth and gums.

Routine cleanings can also give your dental team an opportunity to identify signs of cavities, gum inflammation, and other oral health concerns before they progress.

What Happens During a Teeth Cleaning?

Your cleaning is based on the condition of your teeth and gums.

Plaque and Tartar Removal

The dental team carefully removes plaque and hardened tartar from around the teeth and gumline.

Polishing and Preventive Care

Your teeth may be polished to remove surface buildup and leave them feeling smooth and clean. Your dental team may also provide personalized recommendations for home care.

Do I Need a Routine Cleaning or a Deep Cleaning?

Routine dental cleanings are designed for preventive care, while patients with gum disease may require a different type of cleaning that reaches farther below the gumline.

Patients searching for deep cleaning teeth in Belmont should first have their gums evaluated. Your dentist can determine whether a regular cleaning is appropriate or whether additional gum treatment is needed.

How Often Should You Have Your Teeth Cleaned?

The right cleaning schedule depends on your oral health, gum health, dental history, and individual risk factors. Your dentist can recommend how frequently you should return rather than using the same schedule for every patient.

Why Choose Gentle Dental Belmont for Teeth Cleaning?

Gentle Dental Belmont provides preventive and general dental care for patients of different ages in one convenient location. Our team can combine routine cleaning with ongoing dental examinations and personalized preventive recommendations.
