As always, I received an excellent cleaning from Hygienist, Jessica Ross, along with a thorough explanation of anything she observes. In addition to her dental care proficiency, her wonderful good nature and humor make my visit enjoyable and constructive.

I was able to get an appointment the same week even though they’re super busy. Selda did my dental cleaning and did an excellent job. I had a ton of staining from coffee that she took the extra time to completely get rid of! She had an excellent bedside manner and didn’t rush through things. They have an orthodontist that works there on Mondays too which is nice. They accept most insurance companies too. I was able to add on a fluoride treatment for $45 (insurance doesn’t cover this) to further protect my teeth too. Will continue to come back!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff explained all of the procedures and steps. The attending Doctor was professional, kind, and patient given dentists are most certainly not in my comfort zone. Would highly recommend across the board.

How to Prepare for a Dental Emergency

Tips for Acting Quickly

Knowing what to do before reaching an emergency dentist can make a big difference.

  • Keep the knocked-out tooth moist (preferably in milk).
  • Apply cold compresses to swollen areas.
  • Use clean gauze to control bleeding.
  • Avoid taking aspirin directly on the gums — it can cause burns.

Quick action combined with professional care can help save your teeth and prevent complications.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?

If your tooth is knocked out, handle it carefully by the crown (not the root) and try to reinsert it gently into the socket. If that’s not possible, store it in milk or saliva and seek emergency dental care immediately for the best chance of saving the tooth.

How do I manage pain until I can see a dentist?

Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen can help manage dental pain temporarily. Applying a cold compress to the affected area can also reduce swelling and discomfort until you receive professional care.

Are dental emergencies covered by insurance?

Coverage for dental emergencies varies by insurance provider. Some plans may cover emergency exams, X-rays, and necessary treatments. Our team can help verify your benefits and explain your payment options.

Do I need to make an appointment for emergency care?

While we welcome walk-in emergency cases, calling ahead can help us prepare for your arrival and minimize your wait time. We prioritize patients with urgent dental needs.

What if my emergency occurs after hours?

If you experience a dental emergency after hours, call our office immediately. Our after-hours voicemail provides instructions for receiving urgent assistance or directs you to the nearest emergency dental care facility.
