Gentle Dental Peabody Reviews

I went there for my annual cleaning. Everyone was so kind. It doesn’t even feel like a dentist office they make you feel right at home. Ladies at the front desk, the dental assistants, and the dentist. I found out I needed to fix a filling and they penciled me right in! It literally took 10 minutes to do it. They went over the costs, etc. I was afraid I’d run out of time at the meters and they went down and put in some quarters in for me too. Seriously, So nice! I would recommend to anyone. I been coming here for about a couple years now.

I had to have an extraction on a tooth that broke off at the gum line. To say I was nervous and scared of the procedure is an understatement. Dr. Yang was wonderful. He put me at ease, explained I wouldn’t feel a thing. I had no pain and the procedure was over in no time. Dr. Yang an Oral Surgeon. He is excellent.

Our Orthodontic Services

1. Traditional Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces are the most common orthodontic treatment, especially effective for correcting severe alignment issues. Made of high-quality stainless steel, these braces use brackets, wires, and elastic bands to gradually move your teeth into the correct position.

  • Best For: Severe misalignment, crowded teeth, bite issues
  • Duration: 18-36 months on average
  • Advantages: Highly effective for complex orthodontic cases, affordable option for most patients

2. Clear Ceramic Braces

Clear ceramic braces offer the same functionality as metal braces but with a more discreet appearance. These braces are made from a translucent material that blends in with the color of your teeth, making them less noticeable.

  • Best For: Teens and adults who want a more subtle option
  • Duration: 18-36 months
  • Advantages: Less visible than metal braces while still providing excellent results

3. Invisalign (Clear Aligners)

Invisalign offers a clear, removable alternative to traditional braces. Using a series of custom-made, transparent aligners, Invisalign gradually shifts teeth into place without the use of brackets or wires. The aligners are removable, allowing for easier eating and brushing.

  • Best For: Adults and teens with mild to moderate alignment issues, those looking for a less noticeable treatment
  • Duration: 12-18 months, depending on the severity of the case
  • Advantages: Discreet, comfortable, removable for eating and cleaning, fewer visits to the office for adjustments

4. Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are similar to traditional metal braces but are placed on the back of the teeth, making them virtually invisible from the outside. This option is ideal for patients who want to keep their orthodontic treatment discreet.

  • Best For: Those looking for a hidden option to straighten their teeth
  • Duration: Similar to traditional braces
  • Advantages: Hidden placement, effective for a wide range of cases

Orthodontic Treatment Process

  1. Consultation & Evaluation: Your journey begins with a free consultation where our orthodontist will evaluate your teeth, jaw, and bite alignment. We use advanced diagnostic tools, such as digital X-rays and 3D imaging, to create a personalized treatment plan.
  2. Customized Treatment Plan: Based on the consultation, we’ll recommend the best treatment options for you, explaining the pros and cons of each. Whether it’s traditional braces, clear aligners, or lingual braces, your plan will be tailored to meet your specific needs.
  3. Placement of Braces or Aligners: Once your treatment plan is decided, the next step is the placement of braces or providing you with your first set of Invisalign aligners. This step involves minimal discomfort and is done with precision.
  4. Adjustments & Monitoring: Regular follow-up appointments ensure that your treatment is progressing well. For braces, this includes wire and band adjustments, while Invisalign patients will receive new aligners as their teeth shift.
  5. Retention Phase: After your braces or aligners are removed, you will be given a retainer to ensure that your teeth remain in their new positions. Retainers are typically worn full-time initially, then part-time as your teeth stabilize.
