Had a deep clean with Lisa. First She explained the whys and whats. She was a very comforting and communicated very efficiently. She helped me be calm as I was very nervous and worrying about the pain. She made the clean very gently and I could not believe that I was done. I am going back for the second session this coming week and I am excited about it. I would recommend her work to anyone. The front desk staff was also friendly and professional.
    Thank you all

I have been going to Gentle dental
in malden, Ma for about seven years or so and I'm very happy with this place. I absolutely love my dental hygienist Gina B. She does a though and careful job. She is so wonderful she makes this place what it is. She has been there for over 25 years and she is just fantastic. If corporate is reading this, give this woman a raise and celebrate her! She truly does make this place fantastic. The dentists they have are absolutely wonderful too! Thanks again. Sincerely, Linda D.

When Should Your Child First Visit the Dentist?

Your child should visit the pediatric dentist near me by their first birthday. Early visits help establish a dental home, promote good oral hygiene habits, and allow for early detection of potential issues.

Establish a Dental Home: Creating a comfortable and familiar environment for your child helps reduce anxiety and fear associated with dental visits. This familiarity encourages regular check-ups and consistent oral care.

Promote Good Oral Hygiene Habits: Introducing your child to proper brushing and flossing techniques early on instills lifelong habits that contribute to maintaining a healthy smile.

Early Detection of Potential Issues: Regular check-ups allow the dentist to identify any early signs of dental problems, such as cavities, gum disease, or developmental issues. Early intervention can prevent minor issues from becoming major dental problems.

Nutritional Guidance: Early visits allow parents to receive guidance on their child’s diet and its impact on dental health, promoting better overall health.

Preventative Care: Early visits allow for the application of preventative treatments, such as fluoride and sealants, which can help protect your child's teeth from decay.

Parental Education: Dentists can educate parents on what to expect as their child’s teeth develop, including teething, thumb-sucking, and the importance of primary teeth.

These early visits lay the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health practices and a positive attitude toward dental care.
